Prelude｜詩的定義
生命とは、他者＝関係を内部に折り畳み続ける再帰運動である。
Conceptual Sketch
生命は物質の一種ではない。
それは、遭遇を内部へ折り返し、持続させる構文である。
外部から到来する他者（関係）は、膜において選択され、内部に折り畳まれ、再帰的に更新される。
この 遭遇 → 内部化 → 持続 → 再遭遇 の反復こそが生命である。
この折り返しが成立しないとき、遭遇は外部接続としてのみ伝播する。
それが物質である。
したがって生命と物質の差異は、構成要素ではなく様式にある。
すなわち、再帰に開かれるか否かである。
Formal Definitions
Definition 1｜Encounter and Lag Generation
Let $x$ be any entity capable of encounter.
Define the initial contact operator $Z_0(x)$ as the minimal syntactic event in which $x$ enters relational proximity with an other.
The lag generation operator $L$ maps this encounter to a structural asymmetry:

Lag here is not temporal delay in the ordinary sense, but the non-coincidence between the arriving relation and the current internal state of $x$.

Definition 2｜Internalization and Persistence
The membrane operator $M$ performs fold/internalization:

Matter is the fixation of lag as an external trace.
Death is the cessation of ψ-sustained recursion, resulting in reduction to the Matter modality.
Definition 4｜Recursive Lag–Persistence Chain

Each ΔZₙ is the trace of a completed recursive cycle. The succession ΔZ₀ → ΔZ₁ → ΔZ₂ → … constitutes time.
When ψ collapses, recursion ceases, and time reduces to a fixed trace — the material mode.
