Abstract

This section defines drift (ZURE) as the productive misalignment within Social ψ.

Time, once externalized and maintained, does not remain perfectly aligned.
Differences emerge between memory and archive, institution and culture, individuals and systems.

This misalignment is not failure.
It is the generative condition through which new configurations of time arise.

0. Introduction — Against Perfect Synchronization

Social time appears synchronized:

• calendars align dates

• clocks align hours

• institutions enforce uniformity

However, perfect synchronization is impossible.
